The evil google ad

Get the adblock extension for firefox here (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=10&application=firefox)
after installing it and restarting firefox you get a new right-click option when right clicking images, it also adds little tabs to all flash objects so you can block those as well.
Seen here is the right-click option

Here is what comes up when you select it on a google ad, some of it is site specific but that makes no difference for our purpose.
http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/3105/ad38wo.th.jpg (http://img362.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ad38wo.jpg)
Simply change it to the what you see in the following image
http://img362.imageshack.us/img362/3185/ad48zh.th.jpg (http://img362.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ad48zh.jpg)
the * blocks anything that starts with whatever comes before it, if this was blocking files on your computer c:\* would block your C: drive, same concept.
The final result, since all google ads come from the same directory this will block all google ads.

There are somtimes more options that iFrame when you right-click an image, Adblock image also comes up, works the same way. The best thing is most sites have directorys such as
http://www.nytimes.com/ads/* <-- not a link.
this block all ads on said site.
My filter list is here:
