So the Linux version (which includes the dedicated server) version is out: http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/quake4/

The next question is: Does Trogworld need it's own Quake server?

I'll download when I get home and try it out on my home linux box. Once I get it tweaked (and I figure out what I'm doing) I'll put it up. Bush, you'll have to be in charge of watching it and telling me if I need to load maps and/or install some anti-cheat software.

Well I'm having trouble downloading the files. :P I suppose the idsoftware ftp server is overloaded. I'll get them soon.

ok, this didnt die. Did some checking. I think I might need the game CDs to get some needed files. Might be more trouble then it's worth. :P

well I just know that I wouldnt be able to enjoy the game man. Hell, my hand gets to hurting just playing tetris in the trogworld arcade!
