Ok, so the new rig is put together. I'm a chicken so nothing is overclocked right now. Somebody give me a good program to test with that wont clutter up my hard drive (and registry) with lots of crap.

Downloaded. I'll take it home tonight and see what I get. I'm sure it wont be nearly as fast as the monster rig you built. :P

well last night I was trying to copy data from my old PC to my new one...old one kept crashing so I never got around to testing. Seems that me yanking some cards out of the old one made it unstable. :(

Can't you just slave your old drive into the secondary ide bus and pull your data that way?

well I figured out what was crashing the other machine. It really didnt like the wireless card I put in it. I ran a wire across the middle of the floor and it's working well. Now that this is solved I'll get my new PC tested in short order.

ok, so now that I have all my crap copied over to the new pc and most of the software installed (except for stuff that requires online verification cause I still have no access :( ) I'll finally do a speed test tonight!
