Microsoft is saying that Vista will run games slower then XP!!

Well that’s an interesting article. More MS bloat code. Wonder if there going to address this or not. If they don’t then I would imagine they would be cutting there throat a bit. I don't think gamers will be buying this one. Also I thought vista was built on DX 10 not 9 as told by the writer.

I suppose they think that gamers keep their hardware at the bleeding edge of technology and wouldnt mind the speed loss (or might not notice it).

We have to put up with lag from all sorts of crap,especially the evil 56Kers. I think that loss of speed will mean pretty much everything.

Besides,imagine a 56Ker with that. Ouch.

Exactly. You're not using a 56K. You'd be better off with your toaster than a 56K.

Windows XP World of Warcraft: 75 FPS
Vista World of Warcraft: 40 FPS

Yay! An oldie's back!

I'm glad to have an XP. My DL's pretty fast, so I know I don't have a 56k.
