Right now my internet is fubar so you guys have to carry the torch for me. I'm hastily getting my new rig together to prepare for NWN2 though.

I made Dredoc Anthorngleas (L20 Ranger who's still not dead) a melee. Turns out that Rary made these new cloaks that give you bonus feats, one of which are Weapon Finesse, which helps out a lot. I grabbed a Large Shield +3 & a Dagger +5 & was fantastically successful, killing Little Bear & Talia a few times. The coolest thing is that when there's a sneak around, I can just switch back to my shortbow.

You settle for a shield? The AC is nice but if you're wearing light armor(and I know you are)you could get another weapon. You lose a minor 2 AB for extra attacks.

But meh. Good job on NOT getting murdered.
